Plan it, drive it, budget it, relive it.

Every trip starts in Plan. Three ways in: describe it to the Copilot (“a fortnight up the coast, powered sites, nothing over 300 km a day”), pick a curated route and tap “Plan this route,” or build it yourself — add stops, set dates, reorder as you like. You never need a budget to plan: the moment your route has stops, Ready2Roam shows a free cost estimate — distance, nights, fuel for your rig and typical site costs. Link a budget (Nomad Pro) and you also see the affordability picture — go / not-yet and how much runway you have.

When you're ready, Start trip moves it to Roam. Plans change on the road — reorder what's ahead or add a stop inline, or tap Edit plan to open the full planner and come back without stopping the trip. You can also send a trip back to planning any time; nothing is lost. And when one trip ends, Plan next leg starts the next one already linked, so a long journey stays one connected story.

Roam is your home once a trip is live: your current stop, what's next, nearby places, fuel, your journal, and the whole-trip map filling in as you go. Finished and paused trips live here too, along with your saved routes, the route estimator and your trip library. Trips others share with you appear here under Shared with you.

Track owns the money, with two sides. Budget is the plan — set a monthly amount over a number of months and get a go / not-yet verdict. Spending is the reality — record what you spend and see your pace this week, your biggest categories and how you're tracking against the budget. One continuous ledger runs from pre-departure prep right through the trip — it never resets when you start. You don't need a budget to record spending, but creating one unlocks the comparison and affordability view. Your baseline — your typical month — lives here too, as the yardstick for whether a trip is comfortably in reach.

Ready2Roam has its own rig-aware turn-by-turn — a heading-up map, a 3D rig puck, a clean night-friendly style, an arrival card, and it works offline on your route. As you drive it raises safety advisories — a steep grade for your weight, a possible clearance or restriction, a fatigue nudge — which are advisory only: always check the signs and your own clearances, and remember that no advisory doesn't mean the road is clear. Tap the top banner for the full directions list; minimise nav to use the app and a Return banner brings you straight back. Build an ad-hoc multi-stop drive on the fly (free), and let Optimise order the stops for you (Nomad Pro). In-app navigation and offline nav packs are Nomad Pro; free travellers plan the drive and hand off to Google or Apple Maps.

Ready2Roam warns you about low bridges, narrow roads, weight and axle limits and steep grades for your rig. Report a missing limit: open the rig advisories on your route, add the limit type and posted value, and drop it at your location — it goes to review and, once approved, helps every traveller with a similar rig. Steep-grade warnings come down with your offline pack (so they work without signal) and adjust to your rig's weight.

Ready2Roam shows you where you'll have mobile signal on your trip — and is honest about where it doesn't yet know. On a route you'll see the share with usable signal, the longest likely no-signal stretch, and any stops without signal. Download a region's offline pack and the whole-route coverage is worked out on your phone — instant on even the longest trip. The Coverage Map and route overlay are Nomad Pro; the dead-zone-ahead safety callout while navigating is free.

Help map coverage (opt-in): turn on coverage contribution and, while you're navigating, Ready2Roam takes a quick anonymous signal reading from the location it already has (it never starts GPS on its own, and never runs when you're not navigating). With the offline pack and this on, you can keep mapping with your screen off as you drive. Switch it off any time in Settings.

The Garage is the home for your rig — your vehicles, their real specs, the resources on board, and your upkeep. Set a rig up once (spec lookup fills in the known make-and-model dimensions; the wizard walks you through it) and the whole app routes, warns and estimates around your length, height, weight and axles. Keep more than one rig and switch between them. Log services and due dates under a rig's upkeep, or just tell the Copilot and it records the service for you.

If you use our towing-safety app Ready2Tow for tyre-pressure calculations, towing-compliance checks and rig pairing, it recognises your Ready2Roam account automatically and brings your vehicle specs across — and you can bring your Ready2Tow rigs back into Ready2Roam any time.

Discover is the world beyond your own trips — browse the map for camps and dump points, flick through curated routes (tap “Plan this route” to make one yours), read place pages and the blog, and lean on what other travellers share. Adding places, reviews and photos is free and moderated — it's how the map fills in, so a quiet spot shows an honest “be the first” prompt rather than a fake-full shell.

Record the park-chain and club memberships you already hold — BIG4, Good Sam, CMCA and the like — with an optional member number. Turn on “Prefer sites where I'm a member” and planning gives those sites a gentle nudge. Ready2Roam only ever prefers a site because you told us you're a member — never because anyone paid us to. Memberships are free.

Invite travel companions to a trip as a Viewer or Commenter and plan it together (inviting is Nomad Pro). The people you invite join, view and comment for free — open the link and the trip appears in Roam under “Shared with you.” Leave any time.

A rich travel diary that captures the moments you want to remember. Write entries, add photos, track your mood, and let the AI polish your writing or detect milestones.

Relive a finished trip as a 3D fly-through of the real roads, with a card at each stop and your synced photos. At the end, Trip Wrapped plays the numbers that made the trip — distance, nights, places, biggest spend, the stretch without mobile signal, your steepest climb, photos and longest drive — with a short AI-written story. Share the full replay, a ~15-second highlight, or a still trip card (light or dark); on iPhone, pick full-screen, vertical or square. Your home address is always protected. (Sharing is a Nomad Pro feature.) After a trip finishes, your dashboard and the Today widget show “Your {trip} story is ready” for a week.

When your trip ends, Ready2Roam generates a personalised AI debrief with spending breakdown, highlights, mood arc and a “next trip” suggestion. The dashboard adapts to show it with a share prompt. This is the detailed, private debrief — the numbers and mood behind the trip; Trip Story's “Trip Wrapped” is the cinematic, shareable version of the same journey.

See everything you travelled this year — the places you woke up, the kilometres you covered, and what you spent — then share it with anyone. It runs year-round, not just in December. Free for everyone; Nomad Pro adds an AI “Wrapped” narrative that reads your year back to you.

The Ready2Roam Copilot is your conversational trip-planning assistant — tap the sparkle icon on any main screen and ask anything, by voice or text. A Nomad Pro feature with a generous monthly allocation; on-device quick actions (logging expenses, financial calculations) never count toward it.

While you navigate, a live card shows your next turn plus the first thing that matters on your rig — a restriction, a steep grade, a coverage gap or your next stop — on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and StandBy (iPhone), Apple Watch and CarPlay (iOS 18+), or as an ongoing notification on Android. This live card is a Nomad Pro feature. Four free home-screen widgets round it out on both platforms: Today on the road, Trip budget (with a Lock Screen gauge), Resume plan draft and Signal ahead — add them from your widget gallery.

Once your trip is planned, share it with your favourite navigation app for turn-by-turn directions, generate a printable road book, or export your trips and expenses for your records.
