Sign up with your email or use Sign in with Apple / Google. Your data is encrypted and synced securely.

Add your vehicle — caravan, campervan, motorhome, or tow vehicle. Enter length, fuel economy, and weight if known. This powers fuel estimates and rig fit checks.

The Roam tab is your trip timeline. Create a trip, add stops, and see every leg of your journey laid out with dates, drive times, and costs.

See every stop on a scrollable day-by-day timeline with arrival dates, nights, and notes. Drag handles to reorder stops — all dates cascade automatically.

Fuel Cost per Leg
Each stop shows the estimated drive time and fuel cost based on your rig's real consumption rate.
Live Fuel Price Lookup
Tap “Check current prices” to see state-averaged fuel prices for all fuel types. Your vehicle’s fuel type is auto-highlighted. Tap “Use this price” to update your trip’s fuel cost in one tap. Covers NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, TAS, ACT, NZ, and US national averages.
Per-Trip Fuel Price
Each trip stores its own fuel price so historical trips keep their original costs even as prices change. Edit the fuel price, daily driving limit, and rest ratio directly from the trip editor.
Smart Cost Carry-Forward
Adding a stop you’ve stayed at before? The nightly rate is pre-filled from your last visit. Also works across parks in the same chain (e.g. any BIG4 or G’day park).
Stop Cost Impact
Campsite costs are shown as a percentage of your monthly budget so you know if a park is within your means before you book.
Stop Notes & Daily Journal
Add private notes to any stop — power availability, pet rules, gate codes, driving tips. Keep a daily travel journal entry for each day on the road.
Favourite Stops
Tap the heart on any stop to mark it as a favourite. View all your favourites across every trip from the dedicated Favourites screen in My Library.
Check-In Codes & Emergency Contact
Store park access codes (boom gate, amenities, WiFi, pool) and an after-hours emergency phone number on any stop. Tap to copy a code or tap to call — right from the stop card or Road Pulse dashboard.
Stay Duration Tracker
See how long you’ve been at your current stop. The tracker runs automatically while your trip is active.
Departure Countdown
Within 30 days of your trip start date, the Dashboard shows a countdown card with trip context and budget readiness — so you know exactly where things stand before you leave.

Tap any POI on the map and add it directly to your active trip without switching screens.
Quick Expense from Timeline
Tap the $ button on any day in the timeline to log an expense — the trip and date are pre-filled for you.
Route Fuel Estimate
Every trip detail screen shows a Route Estimate card with total distance, estimated driving time, number of stops, and total fuel cost calculated from your vehicle’s consumption and current fuel price. Updates automatically as you add or reorder stops.
Regional Fuel Prices (Between Trips)
When you’re between trips, the Roam hub shows current regional fuel prices for up to 3 fuel types. Your vehicle’s fuel type is highlighted in teal. Tap to open the fuel price sheet, update your baseline price, and check freshness. If your saved price is older than 14 days, a gentle amber warning nudges you to refresh.
Nearby Discovery Cards
The Roam tab shows a horizontal scroll of nearby POIs based on your current GPS location. Cards update as you travel — showing a diverse mix of camps, fuel, water, toilets, and more (max 2 per category). Tap any card to jump to it on the map.
Share Trip Image
Tap “Share Trip” from your trip overflow menu to generate a branded image card with an embedded route map showing your actual route line and stop markers. Includes stop count, distance, and duration. Share to social media, messaging apps, or save to your photos. Works with any trip size — from a weekend getaway to a full lap.
Tip: Link a Trip Plan to your trip so the budget intelligence and Go/No-Go assessment automatically reflect your actual planned stops and costs. Once your trip is ready, use Share Route to send it straight to your favourite nav app for turn-by-turn directions.

POI Markers
Campsites, caravan parks, holiday parks, dump points, water refills, fuel stations, public toilets, and rest areas — all on one map. Regional vocabulary adapts automatically (e.g. “Holiday Park” in NZ).
Powered Site Filter
Filter to powered sites only so you know which parks have 240V before you drive there.
Rig Fit Badges

Search & Filter
Search by place name, category, or facility type across all your downloaded POI data, curated campgrounds, and live OpenStreetMap. Results are filtered to your current map region. Filter by POI type, camp amenities, and rig suitability — your choices are remembered between sessions.
POI Data Download
On first launch, the app downloads thousands of POIs for your home country in the background so the map loads instantly — no waiting for network on every pan. Travel to a new country and the app auto-downloads that region too. Refresh anytime from Profile > POI Data.
List View
Toggle between map pins and a scrollable list. Each entry shows name, category, distance from you, and compass direction. Tap “Show on Map” to jump to any POI. Sorted nearest-first — uses the same filters as the map view.
Cluster Bubbles
Zoomed out? POIs group into numbered bubbles showing how many sites are in each area. Zoom in and the bubbles split into individual pins. Keeps the map readable even in dense areas.
Opening Hours
POI detail sheets show parsed opening hours so you can see at a glance whether a site is open now, closing soon, or shut for the day.
NZ Freedom Camping
A dedicated filter shows NZ freedom camping sites and highlights whether self-contained vehicles are required.
NZ DOC Huts
950+ Department of Conservation backcountry huts across New Zealand, sourced from OpenStreetMap. NZ-only filter — disabled by default to keep the map clean until you need them.
Accessibility Indicators
POIs show wheelchair accessibility badges (full, limited, or none) where data is available. Filter the map to accessible sites only. Wheelchair-accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces are shown on the detail sheet.
POI Photos & Submit a Photo
Curated POIs display photos in a swipeable carousel. Many remote campsites have no photos yet — tap “Add a Photo” on any detail sheet to upload from your camera or library. Photos go to moderation and appear for all users once approved.
Suggest a Correction
Spot wrong info? Tap “Suggest an Edit” on any POI detail sheet to toggle amenities, update fees, or add notes about what’s changed. Your correction goes to moderation and helps keep the data accurate for everyone.
Star Ratings
When you check out of a stop, the app offers a quick 1–5 star rating. Ratings are optional — skip to complete checkout normally. Over time, ratings help fellow travellers make more informed decisions.
Data Freshness
The POI detail sheet shows when information was last verified and its source (government, OpenStreetMap, curated, or community). Older data may be less reliable — report corrections if you visit and find changes.
Grouped Facility Chips
Amenities on the detail sheet are organised into clear sections — Essentials (power, water, toilets), Amenities (kitchen, BBQ, laundry), Activities (swimming, fishing, playground), and Services (dump station, fuel). Safety warnings like “Clothing Optional” appear prominently at the top.
Region-Aware Categories
POI categories adapt to where you are. Australia shows Public Toilet Map markers. The US shows Truck Stops and National Park campgrounds. Canada shows Parks Canada, BC Parks, Ontario Parks, Alberta Parks, and SEPAQ Quebec campgrounds. New Zealand highlights DOC huts and freedom camping sites. You always see what’s relevant.

Download a region for offline use before you enter a no-signal area. (Nomad Pro)
BLM Public Land Overlay (US)
Toggle on BLM boundaries to see Bureau of Land Management public land across the western US. Warm tan shading shows where dispersed camping is generally permitted. Tap any BLM area for 14-day stay limits, fire restrictions, and nearest land office contact.
Recreation.gov Links (US)
Federal campgrounds managed by the NPS, USFS, and BLM show a direct booking link to Recreation.gov on the detail sheet. Check availability and reserve your site without leaving the app.
Harvest Hosts (US/CA) & Brit Stops (UK)
Free overnight stays at wineries, farms, breweries, and pubs. Tap “Check nearby” on the POI detail sheet to browse available hosts. Separate membership required — the app links you directly to the right service for your region.
National Toilet Map (AU)
19,000+ public toilet locations across Australia with accessibility data, baby change facilities, and opening hours. Sourced from the Australian Government National Toilet Map.
Add a Place
Found a campsite, rest area, or dump point that’s not on the map? Long-press on the map to drop a pin, then fill in the name, category, amenities, fees, and up to 3 photos. Your submission goes to the moderation queue and appears for all users once approved. Free for all tiers.
My Contributions
Track the status of every place and vehicle spec you’ve shared with the community. Go to My Library > My Contributions to see Pending (amber), Active (green), or Rejected (red) badges on each submission. Tap “Add a Place” from here to submit using your current GPS coordinates.

Share Your Specs
Don’t see your rig in the database? After saving your vehicle with 4 or more spec fields filled, a “Share Your Specs” button appears. Tap it to submit your make, model, variant, and dimensions to the community database so other travellers can find and auto-fill their profiles. Free for all users. Track your submissions in My Library > My Contributions.

Driving Preferences
Profile > Driving & Fuel opens a dedicated screen for your driving defaults: daily distance limit (100–800 km), maximum driving hours per day, rest day frequency, preferred road type (highway, scenic, shortest, avoid tolls), and your current fuel price with a freshness indicator. Tap “Check current prices” for live regional lookup. If your saved price is older than 14 days, an amber badge reminds you to refresh. All settings persist across sessions, sync between devices, and are used as defaults for new trips.
Pro tip: Not sure of your exact towing consumption? Start with your manufacturer's figure and adjust it over your first few fuel stops using real fill-up data.

Yes. Ready2Roam is offline-first. All your data is saved locally on your device. Expenses, trip edits, and plan changes all work without a signal. When you regain connectivity, everything syncs automatically to the cloud. The map itself requires internet to load tiles — but Nomad Pro subscribers can pre-download map regions for offline use before heading off-grid.
Tap the Roam tab and you'll see all your trips listed. Tap any trip to view it, or tap the three-dot menu to set it as your active trip. The Dashboard always reflects your currently active trip.
Ready2Roam supports 150+ currencies. Your home currency is set during onboarding and used for all budgets and reports. You can log individual expenses in a different currency (useful when crossing into New Zealand or heading overseas) and the app converts them automatically. Quick-switch chips at the top of the expense screen let you toggle between your home currency and common companions in a single tap.
All tiers include automatic cloud sync via your account. Your data is backed up to secure Australian cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Sydney). If you get a new phone, simply sign in to your account and your data will restore. You can also request an export of your data at any time from Profile → Privacy.
The Journey Health Score (0–100) is calculated from your Trip Plan. It weighs your monthly budget vs your income, your savings runway, and how your planned costs compare to your baseline. A score above 70 means you're in good shape. Below 50 is a warning sign to revisit your budget or income plan before committing to a departure date.
Absolutely. The app detects your region automatically and adapts terminology (e.g. "Holiday Park" instead of "Caravan Park"). New Zealand freedom camping sites are included, and you can flag your vehicle as self-contained so the app surfaces the right sites. Currency support for NZD is built in with quick-switch convenience.
Ready2Roam is built global-first. The map layer uses OpenStreetMap data which covers every country, so campsite and POI markers appear wherever OSM contributors have mapped them. The financial engine supports 150+ currencies with automatic conversion. Units adapt to your locale (metric or imperial). Over 110 preset routes span Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe — with more regions being added regularly. Whether you're crossing the Nullarbor, driving Route 66, touring the Scottish Highlands, or circling Iceland, the app works the same way.
Yes. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You can cancel at any time and you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. Your data is never deleted when you downgrade — it simply becomes read-only if it exceeds the Free tier limits.
Open your trip, then tap Share Route. You’ll see a list of supported nav apps. Tap your preferred app and the full route (all waypoints) opens directly. Nomad Pro subscribers get Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, Hema Explorer (AU), and OsmAnd. You can also set a default nav app in Profile → Nav Preferences.
Yes. Nomad Pro subscribers can generate a branded PDF instruction sheet — either a full road book (with booking codes, directions, and stop details) or a one-page summary. Open your trip, tap Export Trip, and choose your format. Print it or save it to your device. Great for having a backup on the dash when your phone is charging.
Go to Profile → Export Data. Nomad Pro subscribers can export trips and expenses as CSV, branded XLSX spreadsheets, and PDF reports, with three detail levels for expenses: Category Summary, By Trip, or All Expenses. All exports include Ready2Roam branding and are formatted for easy reading in Excel or Google Sheets.
POIs on the map show wheelchair accessibility badges (full, limited, or none) where OpenStreetMap data is available. You can filter the map to show only accessible sites. POI detail sheets also display wheelchair-accessible toilets and disabled parking spaces when that info exists. You can record accessibility details on your trip stops too — useful for sharing info with travelling companions who need it.
